PART-TIME RETAIL ASSOCIATE

Always A.Line is looking for a friendly, dependable part-time team member to join our shop. We’re a small, close-knit team that values thoughtful customer experiences, creativity, and attention to detail. If you love fashion, connecting with people, and working in a dynamic retail environment, this could be a great fit.

What you’ll do:

  • Greet and assist customers on the sales floor and over the phone
  • Operate the cash register and handle transactions with care
  • Assist with inventory, stock replenishment, and merchandising
  • Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-organized store
  • Support pop-up events and off-site markets when needed
  • Assist with social media tasks, including light content support and behind-the-scenes moments
  • Lend a hand with other day-to-day tasks as needed

    What we’re looking for:

    • A warm, positive attitude and genuine love for customer service
    • Reliable, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
    • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
    • Retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required—we’re happy to train the right person

    Position details:

    • Part-time, in-store position
    • Hours may vary, including occasional weekends and pop-up events

    Production Seamstress (Experienced)

    Location: Honolulu, Hawaii
    Type: Full-time

    We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Seamstress with hands-on experience to join our growing production team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, works efficiently, and has a strong understanding of garment construction and finishing.

    Responsibilities

    • Sew and assemble garments accurately according to production specifications and patterns
    • Operate industrial sewing machines (single needle, serger, coverstitch, etc.)
    • Ensure consistent quality, fit, and finishing across all production pieces
    • Make pattern-based adjustments and minor alterations as needed
    • Identify and troubleshoot construction or fit issues during production
    • Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient work area
    • Collaborate closely with the production and design teams to meet deadlines

    Qualifications

    Minimum 2+ years of professional sewing or production seamstress experienceStrong knowledge of garment construction, seams, hems, and finishes

    • Strong knowledge of fabrics, including behavior, drape, stretch, and appropriate construction techniques for different materials

    Ability to follow patterns, technical instructions, and production guidelinesExperience working with a variety of fabrics (woven and knit preferred)High attention to detail and commitment to quality controlReliable, efficient, and able to work independently as well as part of a team

    • Ability to sit for long periods of time while performing detailed sewing and production work

    Preferred (but not required)

    • Experience in small-batch or in-house production
    • Pattern-reading or sample-making experience
    • Familiarity with production timelines and workflow
