Production of Medical Face Masks
April 13, 2020

A big mahalo to Dina Kaniho for helping us develop medical-grade face masks for the brave men and women at Queen's Medical Center. Dina is Queens’ supply chain manager and she was instrumental in providing a-line with the approved material for us to sew this much-needed PPE.

Dina and her colleague Ram worked tirelessly with home sewers and clothing designers like a-line to produce face masks. We’re proud to be a part of this important community effort. Your support of a-line’s face masks make this possible. Mahalo for all of your orders and for helping us support medical professionals in our community.

Response to COVID-19
March 23, 2020

On behalf of everyone at a-line, our hearts go out to all those impacted by COVID-19—this includes not only those diagnosed with the virus, but also their friends and family, those whose jobs and schools have been impacted and so many more. Our focus is, as always, on the health and safety of our employees, customers and communities.

The situation is changing rapidly, and to do our part in slowing the spread of the virus, we have decided to temporarily close our Honolulu manufacturing facility at least until April 30, 2020 due to Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell’s Stay at Home/Work from Home Order. This closure will go into effect on Monday, March 23, 2020. Our website, will remain open, but there may delays in fulfilling orders.

There is no question this is a time of great uncertainty. While we don't know exactly what the future may hold, we feel confident that by sticking together and supporting each other, we'll emerge from this stronger than before.

Mahalo for your loyalty.

Lynn, Owner
